Palace make 20m bid for Everton winger McNeil
Latest from Your Site News' James Savundra and Rob Dorsett:
Crystal Palace have tabled a very late bid of 20m for Everton winger Dwight McNeil.
McNeil has been targeted by Nottingham Forest and Palace, but initially as a loan deal, something which Everton were not prepared to entertain.
Everton are closing in on a deal for Tyrique George, a left winger, on loan from Chelsea with an option to buy. That, we are told, was key in allowing Everton to consider allowing McNeil to leave.
There is no word yet on Everton's response to Palace's offer, but Oliver Glasner's side now face a race against time to get the necessary paperwork and medical tests done before the 7pm deadline.
If there is agreement from all sides, Palace can now submit a signed deal sheet to the Premier League, which would give them until 9pm to try to complete the transfer.

Analysis: Phillips to Sheff Utd could spark career rebuild
Kalvin Phillips is closing in on a deal which would see him leave Manchester City and join Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season.
Your Site News' Ben Ransom:
"It just hasnt worked out for Kalvin Phillips at Man City, and dropping into the Championship might just be the move that finally allows him to rebuild his career.
"Rewind to the summer of 2022, he was one of two Leeds boys that Man City signed for similar transfer fees the other being Erling Haaland. I spoke to both on the clubs pre-season tour in the US that year and they were both excited about what the future might hold.
"Fast forward 12 months and they were both celebrating a historic Treble, but their career paths could not have gone in more different directions. Haaland was integral; Phillips was largely inactive.
"Despite his popularity among the group, Phillips was never able to win the trust of Guardiola and remarkably only ever started six matches in all competitions for City. Failed loan spells at West Ham and Ipswich were false starts. Lets hope a move back to Yorkshire is the spark to resurrect his career."

Angulo move to Sunderland relies on Aouchiche exit
Your Site' Keith Downie at Sunderland's training ground:
"Sunderlands 17.5m move for Nilson Angulo is reliant on outcast Adil Aouchiche moving to Schalke.
"Aouchiches permanent transfer to Schalke opens up a loan spot for Simon Adingra to be loaned to AS Monaco.
" Without Aouchiche cutting short his loan at Aberdeen, Sunderland dont have the loan exit spot available to move Adingra out and without Adingra leaving, Sunderland dont need to sign Angulo!
"Currently
"Angulo is having a medical in Paris.
"Adingra is having a medical in London.
"Aouchich is having a medical at Schalke.
"It seems if your name doesnt begin with an A, youre not part of the deal!"
