Analysis: Are Strand Larsen and Armstrong deals in doubt after Mateta fails medical?
Your Site' Rob Dorsett:
"Like any housing chain, the concern now is that a number of deals may collapse on the back of Jean Phillipe Matetas failed move to AC Milan.
"At the moment, our sources are telling us that Crystal Palace still plan to go ahead with their club-record 48m deal to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolves, and that Wolves in turn will complete their transfer for Adam Armstrong - for 7m +2m from Southampton - to replace him.
"Strand Larsen has completed his medical, but hasnt yet finalised terms and signed the contract.
"If Palace have a change of heart - and decide that, with Mateta returning to Selhurst Park, they dont need three strikers (with him, Evan Guessand and Strand Larsen) could they pull the plug late on the deal to sign the Wolves man? And would Wolves in turn decide that, with Strand Larsen back in their squad, they dont need Armstrong?
"Until the contracts are signed and registered with the Premier League, there will be nerves in South London, Wolverhampton and Southampton."

Phillips close to joining Blades on loan
Latest from Your Site News' Ben Ransom and Rob Dorsett:
Kalvin Phillips is closing in on a deal which would see him leave Manchester City and join Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season.
There was interest from other clubs, Your Site News has been told, but Phillips is keen on a move back to Yorkshire to try to rejuvenate his career.
Phillips played for Leeds for eight years, making 214 appearances, before a 42 million move to Man City.
He has played just seven minutes of football for City this season, in the Carabao Cup.
It's thought City will still pay the bulk of Phillips' salary while he is on loan at Bramall Lane.
What does Mateta deal collapse mean for Strand Larsen and Armstrong?
Your Site News' Rob Dorsett:
"At the moment, our sources are saying Palace still going ahead with Strand Larsen and Wolves are proceeding with their move for Adam Armstrong.
"But let's wait to see how this development changes things. It's going to be fascinating."
